Tonight the secret behind LaidBackCommuter's relaxed attitude is revealed. A 'swift half' between clocking off and catching the train. But, what with the new timetable situation, it is to be no more. Let's see if he retains his air of calm now.
HealthAndSafetyMan is on the train for the first time in ... twelve months or so? He looks much better. Last time I saw him he had just lost his wife to, as they say, "a long illness". He was looking after their two pre-teenage children with the help of her parents. There was already some tension.
Pointless Call Of The Day:
He: "I bought a latte at AnM6ServiceStation. It was only half coffee. The other half was froth."
Me: "mmmm?"
He: "It was all froth. I had to complain to a manager."
Me: "yeeeeees."
He:"Then I got my money back".
Me:"Oh"
He:"I wanted to make a complaint about it. "
Me:"Well, thank you for that. "
He:"Goodbye".
