Let's Get It On

We have had a 'Service Communication Event'.
Unsurprisingly, it 's not about communicating. It's about HeadHoncho and his sidekick Deputy MoleMan alternately shouting and whispering at the assembled workforce for a couple of hours.
This means they can now tick a box which says "Do you keep your staff fully informed?" on the change management audit questionnaire.
Apparently we live in interesting times. We must keep a positive attitude. We will almost certainly be empowered. I think he said we could all play for Chelsea if we wanted it enough, but I might have slipped into a coma and misheard at that point. He definitely used the phrase "whatever floats the boat" more than necessary (i.e. ever).
Most unforgivably, and I'm still cringing at the image, he really really shouldn't've used "Lets get it on!" as an attempted rallying cry.
And people thought Delia was embarrassing.
Never mind though - it's nearly my birthday.
