Last Night I Dreamt...

An unidentified city - which was Liverpool, even though it was no Liverpool I've ever seen - with a darkening sky and rain soaked streets. A restaurant, with a menu in a language I couldn't read, so you chose for me. An evening that started with a confession and ended in a cocktail bar with glass walls and a neon pink chaise long. And rain in your hair.
What's seductive about that whole parallel universe theory is that with parallel universes, you do get a second chance. Then a third, and fourth, fifth or sixth if you need it.
Every choice you never made can be made; in parallel universe world there is no "if only."
